By downloading, installing, or using the Pourit mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Jahanshasys, a British Columbia company operating under the trade name "Pourit" ("Pourit," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.
Pourit is a cocktail recipe companion application that provides:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
You may create an account using Google sign-in, Apple sign-in, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to create an account. The App contains content related to alcoholic beverages and is rated 17+ on the App Store and "Mature" on Google Play. By using the App, you represent that:
Parents and guardians: If you allow a minor to use the App for educational purposes, you are responsible for supervising their use. The App does not sell, distribute, or deliver alcoholic beverages.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings screen. Account deletion is permanent, removes all associated data, and cannot be undone.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before termination, except in cases of serious or repeated violations.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of recipes and content you create in the App. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the App and for promotional purposes related to the App. You may revoke this licence for future use by deleting your content or your account.
User-submitted recipes and feedback must be accurate, original or properly attributed, and must not contain offensive, harmful, defamatory, or illegal material. We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove content that violates these standards at our sole discretion, without notice.
Content contributed to an organization is subject to that organization's settings and visibility rules. Organization administrators may manage, modify, or remove contributed content. When you leave an organization, content you contributed may remain accessible to the organization unless the organization administrator removes it.
The App, including its design, source code, graphics, user interface, and curated recipe database, is owned by Jahanshasys (operating as Pourit) and protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42). The curated cocktail recipe database is a compilation protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
"Pourit" and associated logos are trademarks of Jahanshasys You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the App, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
The AI Recipe Generator uses artificial intelligence to create cocktail recipes based on your text input. AI-generated content is clearly indicated within the App with an AI label or similar identifier.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, taste, or quality of AI-generated recipes. AI-generated recipes may contain errors, inaccurate measurements, or unexpected ingredient combinations.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and testing any AI-generated recipe before preparation or consumption. Always independently verify ingredient safety, allergen information, and proportions. We accept no liability for any adverse outcome resulting from the preparation or consumption of AI-generated recipes.
AI generation is subject to usage quotas that vary by subscription tier. Free-tier users receive a limited number of generations per period. We reserve the right to modify quotas at any time with reasonable notice.
AI-generated recipes produced by the App are machine-generated outputs. You may use AI-generated recipes for personal purposes without restriction. However, you should not represent AI-generated recipes as your original creative work without modification. We retain no ownership claim over AI-generated recipes produced at your request.
Premium features are available via in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All purchases are processed by and subject to the terms and refund policies of the respective app store. We do not process payments directly and do not receive your payment card information.
All prices are displayed in your local currency as determined by the app store. Prices include all applicable fees. Taxes may apply based on your jurisdiction and are handled by the app store.
Premium subscribers receive ad-free access, expanded AI generation quotas, and additional features as described in the App at the time of purchase.
Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged through your Apple ID or Google Play account.
You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused subscription time. Refund requests must be directed to the applicable app store.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. At the end of the trial period, you will be automatically charged the subscription price unless you cancel before the trial ends.
We reserve the right to change pricing for premium features. Existing subscribers will be notified of price increases before they take effect on the next renewal period. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
Free-tier users will see advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ad content is determined by Google and its advertising partners, and is subject to Google's advertising policies. We do not control or endorse the content of advertisements displayed in the App.
You may manage ad personalization through your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.
Pourit provides cocktail recipes and bartending knowledge for educational, professional, and entertainment purposes. We do not sell, distribute, or deliver alcoholic beverages.

You must be of legal drinking age in your province, territory, state, or country to prepare and consume alcoholic beverages. Legal drinking age varies by jurisdiction (18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec; 19 in all other Canadian provinces and territories).
Cocktail recipes are provided for informational purposes only. The App is not a substitute for professional bartending training or advice.
Recipe information may not include all potential allergens or dietary concerns. Users with food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions must independently verify all ingredients before preparation or consumption. We are not liable for allergic reactions or adverse health effects.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or security of these third-party services. Outages, changes, or discontinuation of third-party services may affect App functionality. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Nothing in the App constitutes professional bartending, culinary, nutritional, medical, or legal advice. The App is for informational and entertainment purposes only.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW, JAHANSHASYS (OPERATING AS POURIT) AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $50.00).
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS OUR LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jahanshasys (operating as Pourit) and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your content, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We encourage you to contact us first at support@pourit.app to resolve any dispute informally. We will endeavour to resolve your concern within 30 days.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of Canada and the laws of the Province of British Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles. For disputes initiated by Jahanshasys, the courts of British Columbia shall have jurisdiction. For disputes initiated by you, you may bring claims in the courts of your province of residence or in British Columbia.
You retain the full right to commence or participate in class action proceedings and to bring claims before any court of competent jurisdiction in your province of residence. Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, or British Columbia's consumer protection laws.
After a dispute has arisen, you and Jahanshasys may mutually agree in writing to submit the dispute to mediation or binding arbitration.
In accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we will only send you commercial electronic messages with your express consent. The App does not currently send push notifications or promotional emails. If we introduce these features in the future, we will obtain your express consent before sending any commercial electronic messages.
You may withdraw consent at any time by adjusting notification settings in the App (if applicable), clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email, or contacting us at support@pourit.app. Withdrawal of consent will be processed within 10 business days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days before the changes take effect by posting a notification in the App and, where possible, by email. We will clearly describe what has changed.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and may delete your account before the effective date.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government, failure of third-party services (including Firebase, Google Cloud, Apple, or Google platforms), internet outages, or cyberattacks.
The App is operated from British Columbia, Canada and is available globally through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We make no representation that the App or its content is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions. Users who access the App from outside Canada do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, including laws regarding alcohol, data protection, and digital content.
The App incorporates open-source software components, each subject to its own licence terms. A list of third-party licences is available within the App under Settings > Licences (generated automatically by Flutter).
If you reside in Quebec, these Terms are subject to Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. Any clause in these Terms that is inconsistent with your rights under that Act is inapplicable in Quebec. All contractual terms are available in their entirety within the App. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Quebec.
If you reside in Ontario, these Terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (and the Consumer Protection Act, 2023, to the extent it is in force). Clauses requiring mandatory arbitration, waiving class action rights, or limiting statutory warranty claims are void and have no effect under Ontario law.
Jahanshasys (operating as Pourit) is incorporated and based in British Columbia. Arbitration clauses and class action waivers in consumer contracts are void under BC's consumer protection legislation (Bill 4, Royal Assent March 2025). You retain the full right to bring claims in the courts of British Columbia and to participate in class action proceedings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jahanshasys (operating as Pourit) regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
These Terms are drafted in English and may be made available in French. In the event of a conflict between the English and French versions, the English version shall prevail, except where prohibited by applicable law.
We may assign or transfer these Terms and our rights and obligations hereunder to any third party in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent.
